Application of the R method in solving material handling equipment selection problems

In manufacturing industries, material handling equipment plays a vital role and is considered as one of the important pillars to increase production efficiency. Hence, selection appropriate for specific task well acknowledged, but complexity this process drastically increases with rise in number alternative available market set conflicting evaluation criteria. To resolve problem, several multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques have been proposed by past researchers. paper, application potentiality newly developed MCDM technique, i.e. R method explored while solving five problems, conveyor, automated guided vehicle (AGV), stacker, wheel loader excavator. The derived ranking results are contrasted other popular validate its shortlisting candidate alternatives from best worst, which would ultimately help improving overall efficiency processes.
